Panasonic NPM‑W2S is a highly flexible, single‑beam SMT placement platform designed for fast change‑over and reduced setup time.
It builds on the NPM‑W2 series, offering the same functions while removing one of the two beams for a more compact footprint.
The system provides 120 feeder inputs, a 3‑nozzle V2 head with up to 100 N placement force, and a maximum placement speed of 38,500 CPH with 30 µm accuracy.
Optional features include pre‑pick inspection, automatic pick‑error recovery, and a Pin‑in‑Paste (PIP) lighting unit for precise lead detection.
Its modular design supports various board sizes (up to 750 × 550 mm) and component ranges, making it suitable for both high‑volume and high‑precision production lines.
